I recently have had the privilege of making this artists acquaintance, His work is pretty amazing.
Jack Fowler or Jeremy, is a 33-year old painter and sculptor who lives in Oklahoma City. He says he initially moved here to play music but ended up teaching elementary school, which he still does. He recently picked up a brush and started painting about two years ago. He just did a show at Cheever’s and he has another one scheduled at Sage tonight (Wednesday June 15th) at 7:00, So make sure to make your way there (228 NE 2nd St.)
Jack does mostly colorful portraits (Keith Richards, David Bowie, James Brown, Gandhi, Ernest Hemingway) and some sculpting.
We are intrigued by his art here at ArtBeat and believe you will be too.. be sure to peek in at his show and show some love!
